Viscotears® Tri Action provides a unique way to treat moderate and severe dry eye disease caused by evaporative dry eye disease. Sacha inchi microemulsion has been demonstrated as effective in targeting the aetiological factors for dry eye and supporting all three layers of the tear film.1 5
Simultaneously support all three layers of the tear film with Viscotears® Tri Action5
A normal lipid layer reduces aqueous evaporation. Over 80% of patients with dry eyes have evaporative dry eye disease.6
Only 10% of patients fall into solely aqueous deficient dry eye category. Abnormal tear metrics can increase tear film osmolarity and lead to corneal cell damage.6
The adhesive mucin layer protects and maintains hydration. Ocular surface inflammation can prevent mucin secretion and cause tear film instability.6
